Process and automation engineer for automated plastic processing equipment

Responsible for the quoting and follow up after purchase of new equipment, automatic, semi automatic or manual.Setting up the BOP for new work stations.Integrating equipment into a production execution system with custom software.

Setup of new manufacturing processes, acquiring new equipment, creating statements of work for custom machinery, validations and design of fixtures, workstations etc. to support new products.

Participated in the start up and training of personnel involved in the operation of the automated paint line (ovens, conveyors, powder and liquid painting equipment and Fanuc automation equipment). My current duties were the following ones: Managing 4 Jr equipment engineers. Troubleshooting automation equipment. Creating maintenance schedules. Arranging the order of spare parts. Creating equipment SOP’s. Monitoring Oven equipment. Creation of reports for audit purposes.

My primary duty while working as a test coordinator was to overseeing the correct testing of R&D prototypes as well of QA samples from different Asia vendors as well as communicating the tests results to all the involved parties, my role also expanded to the following responsibilities: Creation of test procedures Training of technicians Equipment and tool purchases Lab equipment maintenance Database management Building of new test equipment Process control Equipment upgrade and retrofit Development of new tests

I was in charge of organizing, recording and setting up a database to log all the test data generated from all the different tests performed in the R&D lab, as well as creating schematics and documentation used for patent purposes and assisting the R&D manager with the general day to day activities.

I was an over the phone technical support agent for wireless networking products, my duties included troubleshooting, advising customers on future purchases and RMA cases.

As intern my main duty was to assist the new product introduction engineer, the activities I was involved were the following: Creation of test procedures and documenting Repair of test fixtures Troubleshooting samples that failed testing and creating histogram charts Pilot line monitoring Extracting the raw test information from the automated test stations and creating the weekly trend report. Development of a quick charge battery charging station for Bluetooth head set batteries.
