I served as a summer contractor at the Baltimore office of SRR. Working alongside senior staff, I primarily worked in fraud and bankruptcy cases. My duties included quantifying and analyzing financial data, briefing senior staff on case details, and helping to present findings to clients.

I was responsible for conducting primary market research for clients. After primary market operations were completed, I then assisted analysts in analyzing the collected data. For each individual client, I helped prepare a deliverable that broke down the data into its implications and included recommendations that helped solve client issues.

I assisted the Foundation in researching areas of interest, which are often turned into funded projects. Along with two other interns, my main project was redesigning the annual Regional Report Card, which provides statistics on metrics of interest to the region. We make decisions on what indicators to include or discard from earlier versions, changed the format to be visually friendly, included an executive summary of key trends in each area, and authored a supporting document explaining how to best utilize the Card.
