Initiated the production of Texas Instruments DLP-Type A and X products and expanded Corning’s China businesses to include development and manufacturing of Gorilla Glass Finishing, Medical Imaging, Thin Sheet EXG, Wafer Finishing, Low-Cost Interposer, Vibrant InkJet, Wearables and Cover Glass for Corning customers internationally. Responsible for managing the development and sales of a new product line for the Texas Instrument DLP Cover business and drove the development of new capabilities such as Gorilla Skin, Finish-at-Thickness (FaT), AR/ETC, InkJet and DIOX. Led the development and installation of the Gorilla Cover-Glass Pilot Finishing line and managed the design, build and start-up of a 64,000 SF Gorilla Finishing Facility in Fuzhou, China. Managed and stabilized the Technology, Information Technology, Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, Vendor Relations and Operations groups. Set strategic guidelines to support the return to profitability and establish the company as the leading force in testing and data management. Launched the company’s first Food/Pharmaceutical Product Group with 300% first year revenue growth.
