As a recent graduate with a degree in biochemistry and biotechnology from ESU, I have gained valuable experience and skills in various areas of the field. During my academic journey, I had the opportunity to work as an engineering intern in the Mechanical Technologies Department at Sanofi Pasteur, contributing to innovative solutions in the pharmaceutical industry.Additionally, I collaborated with the University of Haifa in Israel, conducting field biology research alongside archaeology and anthropology students. This multidisciplinary approach enhanced my understanding of biological systems and the overlap of scientific disciplines.A significant highlight of my academic career was conducting research on inhibiting Mycobacterium species using novel sponge metabolites. This project allowed me to apply principles from both biochemistry and biotechnology, showcasing my ability to employ disciplines across my majors.With a passion for synthetic biology and agricultural engineering, I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of sustainable solutions. My goal is to integrate cutting-edge technology with biological systems to address challenges in agriculture, food production, and environmental sustainability.
