As Program Director, I provide oversight of the Indiana Department of Correction Electronic Monitoring Program and the Division Accreditation Process and Training. I have experience working with outside contractors like Attenti, BI Inc., and Liberty Behavioral Health Corporation. Ensuring that offenders who have a sexual and/or violent history are being monitored by field staff keeping in mind best practices, policy, and ACA standards to promote successful re-entry and public safety. As Program Director, I remain on an on-call basis to rectify emergency situations and violations that require GPS expertise, working closely with the Indiana Parole Board. I also aid with Division training specializing in Taser, Narcan, Stop the Bleed, and Law Enforcement topics.

Parole Services - Indiana Department Of Correction

As Program Director, I provide oversight of the Indiana Department of Correction Electronic Monitoring Program and Parole Services Training. I am also a member of the Parole ACA Audit Team. I have experience working with outside contracts like, Attenti Electronic Monitoring, BI Inc, and Liberty Behavioral Health Corporation, Insuring that offenders who have a sexual history are being monitored by field staff keeping in mind Best Practices, DOC Policy, and ACA standards to promote successful re-entry and public safety. As Program Director, I remain on an on-call basis to rectify emergency situations and violations that require GPS expertise working closely with the Indiana Parole Board. I also provide oversight of both in-service, pre-service, firearms, taser, narcan, and CPR/First Aid training academies insuring that training requirements are being maintained. As Program Director, I have two direct reports that monitor training and the electronic monitoring help desk.

Parole Services - Indiana Department Of Correction

I maintained a case load of parolees, providing services aimed at successful re-entry into the community. I have supervised adults, juveniles, and sex offenders monitoring their compliance with all stipulations and laws. I have hands on experience working with electronic monitoring systems and their uses in the supervision of parolees. As a parole officer, I have a working knowledge of laws, rules, department policy and procedures, concerning the supervision of paroled offenders. As a Parole Services Trainer, I was responsible for instructing new lesson plans at the pre-service academy and in-service continuing education.

Correctional Counselor: I was responsible for the day to day operations of the assigned housing units and provided services to offenders such as jobs, education, and drug and alcohol classes. As a counselor at Westville Correctional Facility, I was assigned to the Disciplinary Ideal Unit and Protective Custody Unit, two special needs housing units. Correctional Officer: I was responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for offenders as they carried on their daily activities at Westville Correctional facility. As a certified quick response team member, I was trained in numerous lethal and non-lethal weapons ranging from assault rifles to gas and projectile guns.
