• Maintain proficient knowledge of School of Continuing and Professional Studies (CAPS) academic program offerings, admissions, policies and procedures and basic student financial aid information, including but not limited to thorough understanding of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process.• Conduct outreach activities to identify and engage prospective students, including representing the school at recruiting events, corporate events, information sessions, and speaking with candidates, using multiple communication methods.• Create and implement outreach programs by establishing and maintaining a network of contacts with area community colleges, including academic advising staff, advisors of honor programs/societies, and representatives from student organizations.• Serve as primary contact for prospective students; help prospective students make connections between degree or program selection and future personal and professional goals; create connections to other resources, including career specialist and financial aid advisor, and follow-up as needed.• Assist marketing and recruiting budgets; support content management of the school’s website and social media marketing tools; assist with tracking mechanisms to effectively collect data to target marketing efforts.

• Recruit prospective students communicating the enrollment process, program-specific details, and general STLCC information via email, telephone, social media, individual appointments, walk-in inquiries, campus tours, and group information sessions. • Assist with the creation of presentations and conduct outreach to high school students, adults, special populations, school districts, community agencies, and other external groups or agencies to initiate and maintain programs and partnership opportunities; ensures consistent, relevant, and appropriate communications to partners to promote and advance, positive relationship with STLCC.• Work with other College offices to attain expertise in and assist with student recruitment activities in key areas including academic and other programs, student populations, and special projects.• Collaborate with other college departments, local businesses, and community groups to form partnerships for the promotion and marketing of the college.• Select, train, and supervise Work Study, Student Recruiters, and Student Ambassadors.

• Assist with the development and coordination of EOC program services. • Assist with the recruitment, identification, selection, and monitoring of EOC participants.• Develop and design surveys and questionnaires for current students; analyzing questionnaire results; conducting focus groups.• Promote EOC program services at high schools, colleges, Community Stakeholder locations, and high traffic locations such as shopping malls, nail salons, etc.• Document all participant interaction and maintain accurate records (including electronic records) of interactions with students.• Maintain engagement with Community Stakeholders to include planning recruitment activities, outreach events and establishing satellite centers.
