As a counselor for children with physical and developmental disabilities I was given the opportunity to help in fostering a learning enviroment within nature. Once a year Camp Wamp allows children with physical disabilities to explore the high sierra in a one on one camper to counselor ratio environment. As a counselor I was responsible for setting up camp, educational exercises, fishing, and other camp duties. I also helped to bring an environment of awe and wonder into the lives of children who get very little opportunity in the outdoors.
