Recruited, developed and managed a highly skilled and effective staff of 12. Provided a fresh visual image for Standard Chartered worldwide by updating its Corporate Identity. Responsible for its implementation, management and development.Revitalised internal communication channels including face-to-face briefings, videos and hard-copy publications to communicate effectively with 5,000 staff in 12 countries. Ensured effective issues management and supported the Financial Calendar, (Results; Annual Report; AGM) with timely communication materials. Supported the Bank receiving Euromoney magazine's "Best Bank in Sub-Saharan Africa" awards for 1997 & 1998 by establishing effective media contact programmes.Improved Government Relations by building links with key external bodies including the Foreign Office and selected High Commissions.
