As the Assistant Manager I Provide customer service consisting of customers by phone, and walk in customers. Providing customers with contractors information for irrigation installation. Ordering supplies for the store. Handling All Invoices and Purchase orders for the store. Supplying contractors with Take Off information, Material Estimates and Plans. Handling all delivery procedures including driving. Performing Cold Calls to new Companies. Keeping the Warehouse stocked. Ordering stock from Distributors and organizing and completing inventory counts. I have demonstrated working experience with analyzing, evaluating and organizing information according to processing guidelines and practices. In my current role I lift pipe and other irrigation products which are 50+ pounds on a regular basis, unassisted. I have experience with operating a mini-van and two-ton truck as I operate the companies truck for delivering product. I have experience operating rolling safety ladders, hand trucks and pallet Jacks, I am able to use Drills, Pipe Cutters, Tin Cutters, Hand Saws as I unload product and place in the proper location in the warehouse using this equipment. I have a valid driver's license or be able to obtain. I have the ability to maintain accurate inventory records compile reports from those records and to estimate the amount and type of supplies, materials, and equipment needed to maintain proper inventory levels in the warehouse and stockroom I am able to operate appropriate warehouse equipment (i.e., pallet jack, forklift, etc.) Handling day to day operations of the store and supervising a staff of one consisting of directing and advising on the work each day. Use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc to prepare letters, data entry and presentations.
