My practice focuses on resolving property insurance disputes for policyholders. I represent only the insured on insurance policy interpretation and loss valuation disputes to recover the policy benefits due. I represent policyholders in both third-party liability and first party insurance bad faith cases, when an insurance carrier's conduct rises to that level. Over the years, I have acted as lead counsel in state and federal trials and appeals in numerous states, including matters brought on behalf of certified classes. I defended one of the largest gold mining companies in the world in several lawsuits filed over discovery of a multi-million ounce gold deposit, which culminated in a six-week federal jury trial in which our client received a defense verdict. I have also represented clients in matters resulting in significant reported decisions in both state and federal courts.
