I graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara, earning a bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Japanese. During my time there, I applied myself academically earning a 3.67 grade point average and recognition in the Dean's honors list for the Winter of 2019, Spring of 2019, Fall of 2019, and Winter of 2020. I was accepted into the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society in 2022 for capabilities in academia by maintaining a high GPA in my major study. I studied the Japanese language, of which I gained an intermediate understanding of and am currently improving.I applied and worked as a Equipment Supervisor working in the Residential Housing Association to provide equipment for events while representing my fellow students. I assisted in event preparation, and even led an event within my first month of entering. I have data entry skills in presenting available equipment, their quantity, their status, and availability. I communicated with students and staff on availability of materials and provided office hours to discuss the matter in a physical setting when neccessary.My main interest of study is Japan within the turn of the 20th century, including that of political action and thought, which I based my Major Research paper in within my University. I also have an interest in history and historical events in general, ranging from Central American history during colonization, to European history pre and post Napoleon I am currently looking to take on opportunities in History related fields including archival work, conservation, Museum exhibition, Museum maintenance, Research assistant, etc. I am committed to providing an understanding to have history to those curious about the state of todays world in relation to past events, and hope to take on opportunities that best demonstrate my knowledge, event preparations skills, and presentation skills.
