As the Assistant Superintendent at my jobsite, it was my responsibility to ensure our carpenters and sub-contractors stayed on schedule. I overlooked plans to ensure their accuracy as well as checked to make sure all work was done properly. I made sure that the job site was clean and hazard free, as safety is always a top priority. I did some layout, as well as double check grades and level. Calling in building inspections and hunting down subs is also something I became very familiar with.

As a remote Route Sales Rep (RSR), I was in charge of all aspects of my route. This included everything from ordering, loading, and selling, to daily paperwork and bank deposits. I continuously grew my route in geographic area, as well as sales. A large part of my job was to build and maintain a positive relationship with all of our customers. Being a remote route meant that I, along with two others, worked independent of our parent node as it was located in another city.In 2010 I stepped down from full time employment to go back to school full time at UTSA.

As a Marine, I completed 13 weeks of basic training as well as 6 weeks at the School of Infantry. I served 3 overseas tours including combat action in Iraq in 2003. As a small unit leader I had a responsibility to the Platoon to ensure the combat readiness of my Marines. I employed various weapons systems and tactics ensuring mission success and troop welfare. After 4 years in diverse situations, in many countries around the world, I am ready for anything life has to offer.
