CurrentWork for the Engineering & Public Works of the City of Richmond. Assigned to conduct inspection and regulation of contractors' work ensure compliance with City standards, including inspection of the installation of private and municipal underground utilities, ditch in-fills, dike construction/modifications, culvert/bridge installations, service agreements for the new develop areas and capital project such as the city of Richmond water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and roadworks.Ensure that all works done are in accordance with the contract documents, design drawings, Master Municipal Construction Documents (MMCD) manual, City of Richmond Engineering Department Supplementary Specifications and Detail Drawings manual and City of Richmond Engineering Design Specification. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, reports, plans and specifications. Recently certified CCTV Operator by National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) for Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP), Manhole Assessment Certification Program (MACP), and Lateral Assessment Certification Program (LACP) - video inspection of new and existing storm and sanitary sewer systems. Verification of as-constructed information. Administration of damage deposits.Liaising with various city staff, stakeholders, private business, contractors, other utility body, and the general public in achieving a progress in the project to meeting the standard and quality of product for the city.
