My main responsibilities include the following:-Maintaining three systems of tanks that currently hold 46,000-50,000 fish in 147,000-156,000 gallon systems including filtration systems.-Perform daily husbandry duties of the systems, which include feeding over 500 - 900 kg daily and removing the low natural moralities due to aggressive fish behavior.-Dive and perform system maintenance on company wide systems. (15 minutes to 7 hours depending on circumstances)-Perform testing of new methods of improving system capabilities in order to yield better quality conditions of any given system in operation-Update and maintain a monitoring system that tracks multiple critical points of data for every system (aka HMI programing and soon PLC) in the building that houses between 800,000 to 1.2 million fish depending on stocking densities and time of year.

-Animal Husbandry-Water chemistry tests (pH, Alkalinity, Carbon Dioxide, Gas Saturation, Copper, Bromine, Oxygen)-Diagnosed fish health issues and administered proper treatments.-Design of systems for gas injection.-Improved existing system flows, gas injection, bio-filtration-Transferred fish from system to system-Setup Tank harvests-Scuba dived to perform underwater system maintenance-Research (system design aspects, fish health)-Built a Microcounter PC capable of counting fish as small as 0.1 grams and as large at 30 grams.-Designed and ran test on different parts of fish culture system to identify inefficiencies.
