I was offered an opportunity to take on a landscape gardening contract for a company called the land girls. The customer had outlined a large project in Kew gardens that included a large stainless steel moat and cascading water feature. This project would later be promoted in a famous gardening magazine. The project lasted 5 weeks and I employed 3 workers to assist in the build. This was a very rewarding project that led on to many other leads. This was company stopped due to becoming involved in Bragman Flett Ltd.

I was initially taken on as an electrician for 1st and 2nd fix installations aswell as any snagging issues to all of the sites.My secondary role at Greens building contractors was to assess and make adjustments and repairs to new build houses to ensure quality of finished product.I was paired with a plasterer for a year to help with smaller plastering jobs, I learnt to plaster and undertook a number of rooms and ceilings myself.

My role as apprentice was to work with a qualified electrician and learn all types of electrical work from installations and repairs to fault finding and full wiring tests.In this role I spent over 4 months with a qualified electrician carrying out a full wiring test of Tooting Leisure centre. This was usually undertaken at night, and involved mapping of wiring and carrying out tests to each circuit. Each circuit then had to be marked on the main boards.My second year I was given an apprentice of my own and was assigned a series of houses to rewire, aswell as many other smaller projects.This apprenticeship was a day release scheme and once a week would go to east surrey college fortheory and practical assignments.I have certificates in 16th edition regulations.
