Current- Created dynamic geartrain models of planetary transmissions in GT-Suite to determine bearing reaction loads and shaft slopes.- Quantified engine bore distortion by combining results from GT-Power, Fluent, Ansys, and Altair SimLab.- Imported distorted bore geometry into GT-Suite to simulate piston ring dynamics.- Applied topology optimization to cylinder head cooling fin design to achieve targeted temperature reduction.- Utilized GT-Suite to determine proper engine mount / isolator location on home standby generators.- Developed a workflow for EFI MIL / SIL / HIL simulation with GT-Suite and Simulink.
