I started Memorials by Design Llc. in 1997 to offer a smarter, easier, more affordable way to buy a cemetery monument. Fast-forward to now and we have built a great reputation for producing world-class monuments while providing caring and experienced service to our families.The traditional approach for people needing a monument involved a purchase from a cemetery, or through a funeral home, but the drawbacks to this route are numerous. First, they use commissioned sales people which naturally increases the cost. Second, they use subcontractors for everything, which means they have little control over the quality of the product or the installation. Also, they truly count on the fact that people will not shop around and use this to often command high prices with questionable quality.Memorials by Design offers a way to avoid these pitfalls. I still meet with every family personally to ensure their complete satisfaction. Then when it comes time for the installation, we have our own equipment and can easily deliver to a large geographic area covering multiple states surrounding New Jersey. Our monuments are of the highest quality available today and we are very proud to showcase our finished projects.In addition to helping thousands of families select the perfect tribute, we have also done dedication monuments for The U.S. Coast Guard, Police Departments, Fire Departments, The American Legion, various V.F.W. posts and military organizations, as well as schools and houses of worship.We can literally create anything in 19 colors of granite as well as cast bronze.
