Developed a plan for providing an open source Software exchange system so that different institutes within the NIH could share custom developed software among themselves and the HHS community, using a customized version of GForge.Provided a plan for scaling out plan for the SharePoint 2007 farm that was used by NIH IT department to address a variety of security and performance issues they were expecting

Worked as a Microsoft Partner supporting a pilot Software as a Service program for the Department of the Navy. This work included standing up servers, supporting the development of DIACAP package and providing operational support during the first nine months of the program.Lead consultant for a four man team standing up a secure collaboration SharePoint system for the Commander Navy Installation Command (CNIC) in Washington DC. This project included standing up a DoD accredited system. Then migrating the content from an existing farm stood up in Hawaii, and going through the process of auditing the contents to ensure no PII information was on the system.

Implemented a prototype multi-national collaboration portal for Air Force European Command (EUCOM) to provide a secure collaboration system. The system was intended to be a boxed Forward Operating Base package that would be deployed in theater, and provide partners the ability to operate in the same command on the same physical network; but be segmented virtually according to nation so that sensitive information could be shared more seamlessly without violating security rules. I was responsible for the design of the SharePoint collaboration part of the system.

The solutions I developed provided a distributed interface the mainframe solutions so that customer could access data more easily with Windows tools such as Excel, Access and Internet Explorer.Managed the Quality Assurance labs provide hardware and software support making sure machines were working and that virtual images were updated for pre-release testing and for support testing to replicate client issues. This including updating the installation design process and tools.
