when I completed my diploma with Boston Business College in 2013, I stayed a couple of months looking for employment in the financial industry and a few companies around Johannesburg that didn't have anything to do with what I studied. companies like retailers, event organizers ( clubs, pubs etc). I struggled to get employment until I decided to open up my own business which dealt with food, home made cultural food and Kasi food (kotas). In 2014 early in February I go an opportunity to work under one of the leading financial services insurance company ( Metropolitan) offering Advisory and Intermediary services in long term personal insurance products as a financially advisory for the company. I worked with the company for a couple of months, and in May 2014 I received a call and an offer from one of the Insurance companies I had forwarded my CV too when I was still looking for a job. I received a better offer compared to what I had already with Metropolitan, the offer came from Mutual and federal insurance which dealt with short-term insurance products under Old mutual (IWYZE). I used some of the skills I had generated working with Metropolitan to help me better my skills I'm sales and together with Mutual and federal insurance company I found myself archiving a lot with my years working in the company. I worked for 8 years in sales and I have learnt so much and gained a lot of experience in the sales field and I also aquired a few qualifications that helped boost my career as I'm now a fully qualified Sales Representative. I believe with the interpersonal communication skills and experience I have I will add value into the company that I find myself one-day working for.
