The Director of Fleet is responsible for managing fleet assets and providing leadership and guidance to Prudential facilities and their teams of supervisors and technicians who provide maintenance services to our fleet of over 400 Tractors, Trailers, Box Trucks and Step-Vans.The DFM will oversee the maintenance and repair of our fleet portfolio to maximize value and ensure operational efficiency. The DFM will oversee our fleet portfolio and through asset acquisition and divestiture maximize value and ensure operational efficiency. The DFM will also provide oversight of all maintenance management systems to ensure work is performed in compliance with the Company’s established procedures, safety standards, and federal and state regulations.Utilizing industry best-practices the DFM will ensure efficient and effective scheduling of vehicle maintenance services and optimal parts inventory levels to minimize vehicle downtime and expense. Responsibilities also include staffing and professional develop of maintenance team members.
