My name is Christopher Matthews, I am a recent graduate from the Isenberg School of Management, completing my Master of Science in Business Analytics with a concentration in Data Analytics. My coursework primarily coincided with enhancing business operations through a multitude of software such as:PythonSQLTableauAdvanced Excel Excel Miner and more. Alongside many technical skills, database querying, and data visualization, our projects include a vast array of fundamental and advanced topics in the modern business world. I received my Bachelor in Business Administration in Finance at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and ISOM. While pursuing my BBA and M.Sc., I balanced my academic workload as the Secretary of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and a Division One sprinter on the UMass Men's Track and Field team. I excel in time management, leadership, as well as discipline as I am a multi-semester Dean's List student, Chi Alpha Sigma honors society member, garnered numerous A-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll distinctions, and have a semester of TA experience in the classroom (Banking Management 404). I strive to use my skills and experience to become a future financial data analyst post-grad. I have previous experience in corporate accounting and financial analytics and plan on seeking a job in the financial field with a passion for how data and technology is playing a role in the development of the economy and financial markets.
