I coordinate the treatment of patients who are under the care of the Orthodontists. I generally perform tasks based off of treatment plans determine by the Orthodontist and at time assist them as they work chair-side. The vast majority of my interactions with patients call for consistent communication of steps in a way that ensure their understanding of all procedures.

I worked closely along side two general dentists learning their individual styles and techniques which made me a great asset in the dental field. This was the first assisting position I acquired upon finishing at Everest and proved over the years to serve as a great training ground for me in the dental field. I began as an Assistant to the Hygienists and as my skills in basic dental tasks such as charting and X-rays improved I was given an opportunity to assist the Dentists. I performed this duty well as was approached by an in house specialist whom happen to be an orthodontist whom offered me the opportunity to training as an orthodontic assistant. I functioned in the two roles of general assistant and orthodontic assistant during the remainder of my time at Brightside and am currently.

I began my time here as a Host. This position called for me to maintain a well flowing seating plan. I constantly communicated with service staff and management to ensure mutual awareness of restaurant occupancy. I excelled at this position and was given the opportunity to serve as a certified trainer of hosts. I depended heavily on my strong communication skills and my knowledge of the position to pass on what I knew to individuals who were in my training classes. This over time led to the opportunity to be a server. I combined again my communication skills and a strong grasp of knowledge on the product that we offered to guests to become successful at this role. This is when I believe I truly shined. I sharpened my already keen people skills on a diverse number of guests over the years.
