Senior Project Engineer-Management of in-house staff and consulting firms for Phase I study and Phase II design/plan development projects.Highlights: Management of a Phase I/Phase II project for the reconstruction of I-74/I-155 Interchange, I-74/Morton Avenue Interchange, 8 structures on I-74 at Morton Illinois. This $86 million project involved Phase I Context Sensitive Solutions coordination, public informational meetings and hearing, alignment studies, Environmental studies, Drainage study, Type, Size and Location for the structures, and Combined Design Report. Phase II work included development of an informational website, informational presentations, comprehensive traffic study and construction staging studies, geotechnical study, land acquisition, agreements coordination, roadway and bridge design/plan development. Senior Design Team Leader-Directed and Managed numerous consultant projects ranging from the Phase I preliminary engineering studies and design reports to the Phase II design and plan development of roadway and bridge projects.Highlights: Negotiation, Administration and Coordination for the Phase II design and plan development of a $480 million 11 mile reconstruction of Interstate 74 and arterial roadways through Peoria and East Peoria. Duties included the negotiation, administration and management of 9 separate consultant contracts involving 27 separate consulting firms assembled and directed to complete the design and plan development for 10 separate complex urban interstate plan sets and 6 advanced material fabrication plan sets. -Managed and assisted a team of in-house staff in the development of Phase I and Phase II roadway projects.Highlights: Management of the in-house design/plan development for a $14 million reconstruction of an 8 mile section of Interstate 474 in Peoria.-Personally developed many in-house design reports, special studies and roadway design projects utilizing MicroStation, GEOPAK and Descartes.
