With a breadth of legal experience, I am forward-thinking, dynamic and client focused with a determination to succeed. As such, I am currently seeking opportunities beyond the confines of law.I commenced my legal career in 2008 with Lyons Davidson and was called to the Bar in October 2008. Within the year I was promoted to Team Leader of the Cardiff and Plymouth Advocacy Departments supervising a team of highly motivated BVC/BPTC/LPC graduates. Thereafter, I also took the Solihull office under my leadership.My duties extend to the recording, analysis and utilisation of Management Information (MI). As team leader I drive performance against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) ensuring KPIs are met. I have practised as a Solicitor, Solicitor-Advocate (all Higher Courts) and I am now at the Employed Bar.Over and above my management duties (personel and facilities) over two sites, I undertake trial and advisory work, including instructions on appeal focussing on civil litigation and road traffic personal injury. I have also experience in CICA (Criminal Injury) compensation appeals.I am currently working towards qualification with the Law Society of Northern Ireland and have a keen interest in extra-jurisdictional work and comparative law. This interest also extends to my experience north of the border and , as such I am very keen to expand upon my work in this field. I am actively seeking opportunities within or allied to the legal sector. I am very flexible as to location (Scotland, Ireland (all) or Wales).
