As a Brokers Assistant I was responsible for a variety of real estate tasks. First by acquiring new clients for the office through social media outreach, ads, and phone conversations. I would then take potential clients on tours throughout the city where my goal was to turn them into lifelong customers of Boston Moves. Closing them on an apartment they liked and establishing a good report and relationship. Another large responsibility was previewing apartments and photographing them for advertisements. I closed a total of four deals by the end of the internship, bringing in revenue and expanding the clientele of the company.

As an intern at Brooks Life Sciences, I worked under GENEWIZ, a biotechnology company headquartered in Cambridge, MA. My role was in their marketing department as the customer/user experience intern. The main project I was responsible for was creating a Chat Bot for their website. When I came on board, customers could ask questions by going to the website and getting connected with a live agent to chat with via a text box. I wanted to fully automate this process by creating a virtual assistant that would be programmed to answer customers questions, therefore eliminating the need for employees to take time out of their days to respond to the customers. Along with the creation of this virtual assistant, I worked on various other projects such as analyzing customer feedback data and improving the user interface within company ordering systems.

As a sales representative at Vector Marketing, I sold Cutco Cutlery to customers during a one-hour in-home presentation. Amassing over $80,000 in sales both in person and virtually. Built a large clientele list with hundreds of customers, all through personal recommendations. I was also an assistant manager during multiple campaigns with the company. Balancing my sales position while simultaneously interviewing and hiring new employees, recruiting through social media, and managing the sales team.
