Created a proof of concept sleep detection model using an LSTM for a smart watch company.Most of my time here was spent working on SmartSurj, a NextGen Lodging company that provides dynamic pricing for short term rental. The dynamic pricing engine itself is a combination of a rules engine and several other supervised and unsupervised models.- Surge Score- Event Impact classifier built on top of BERT- Modified a computer vision technique to create a time series change point detector that performed better for our use case than traditional algorithms. I was also responsible for providing ad hoc analysis of market performance, seasonality and other analysis tasks like extracting trends from our review data by leveraging BERTopic and performing demographics analysis on our guest data.While my main responsibility was developing both the algorithms and applications behind SmartSurj, I also provided architectural direction for the wider NextGen Lodging ecosystem of applications, selected and negotiated with vendors, and performed other duties typically performed by a startup CTO.

Developed a high performance Clinical Query Language interpreter for a client to replace the unacceptably slow industry standard interpreter for a client. Also developed a JSON Schema to AVRO schema transpiler that significantly reduced the effort required to create an AVRO schema for the FHIR standard.

Rubberduck is an open source COM Add-In for the VBA Editor built in C#. The project’s goal is to bring modern IDE features to the editor. Features include an integrated Unit Testing framework, Task List, Static Code Analysis and more.
