Manufacturing lentiviral and retroviral vectors for use in FDA-regulated Phase I/II clinical trials. Manufacturing is performed in accordance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)-compliant processes, as defined in Chapter 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), for use in human clinical trials. Manufacturing of viral vectors follow FDA and State regulations, including the production of sterile drug products, to ensure the safety of patients receiving these products.

Worked closely with a group of scientist to explore new ways of obtaining CBD oil. Work concentrated mostly around HPLC/Rotovape experiments. Was entering production stage by the time I left. Work was very team oriented. Produced thousands of CBD vape cartridges.

Worked for the largest appliance retailer in Colorado with 20 some odd stores. Managed multiple stores in the Denver Metro and along the front range of northern Colorado. Was responsible for training personnel and driving numbers. Sales included new and used appliances.

Worked as a sales associate/ installer. Installed and upsold over 800 residential and commercial ADT security systems. Was part of a high performing team under the management of Brent McKinstry. Contributed to making the Denver branch the highest performing branch in the country two years running. Was in the top 10% in sales during my time there out of roughly 1600 individuals.

Processed DNA isolates testing for breast cancer genes specifically BRCA1. Working on various machines including but not limited to: V-preps, Biomeks, ABI’s, Thermocyclers, Centrifuges, etc. Job was very detail oriented and time management was critical. Processed hundreds of thousands of samples if not millions during my time at Myriad. Worked closely with roughly 20 people in a production style laboratory.

Engineering position involved with the testing of building materials and products. Work included large scale and small scale testing. Testing equipment used: moisture meter, instron, dial gages, HUD racking test, load cells, micrometers, as well as formaldehyde tests. Work also includes communication with clients and generation of data. We would build and destroy walls and various other components of buildings both residential and commercial for testing. Tested tensile strength of cables, metals, styrofoams etc. Would also do compression test to see how much load products could endure. Work was very team oriented.

Bloomington, Indiana Area

Worked on protein purification of 3 Gst-tagged proteins: Attj, Sid-N, and Sid-L (collaboration with Purdue University). After the purification the proteins were given to Lingling Chen for X-ray crystallography in hopes to find out their structure. If the structures can be discovered, could lead to better understanding of interactions between proteins that lead to pathogen uptake to host cells. This could possibly lead to prescription drugs.
