Afghanistan

Manage all aspects of movement control operations for 16 sites in the Jalalabad area of operation (AO) to include inbound and outbound commercial air, commercial ground, military air, and military ground cargo movements• Planned truck and air movement for the closure of 12 sites and the reduction of three others. Over 650 moves were completed over a six month period on or ahead of time allowing for the closure of sites on schedule to meet the customers and clients demands.• Over $2 Million dollars in Cost Avoidance Measures (CAM) to the client by utilizing multiple ground and air transportation methods.• Guarantee accuracy of documentation procedures and submissions to the U.S. Army for logistics movement requests (LMR’s), Transportation Movement Requests (TMR’s), Air Movement Requests (AMR’s), Requests for Information or Assistance, and remission requests• Oversee document control and movement tracker entry of shipping records, bills of lading, AMR, TMR, and LMR information to capture the movement of cargo for any inbound or outbound cargo for Jalalabad Airfield• Communicate with carriers, site leadership, and site materials personnel to resolve any movement delays, discrepancies, or requests for assistance• Submit transportation discrepancy reports on behalf of Fluor to note any loss, damage, or theft of material while in possession of the carrier and to generate a claim against the carrier if necessary• Manage a multi-cultural team of over 20 employees

Responsible for the leadership, mission readiness and welfare for over 200 assigned Soldiers and 5 Full Time Unit Administrators at three different locations in Ohio and Michigan.• Responsible for ensuring all Soldiers are trained to mobilize, deploy and accomplish the wartime mission.• Increased weapons qualification by 24% in a six month period; the company currently qualifies over 95% of its Soldiers.• Successfully completed two Extended Combat Training rotations at Fort Hunter-Liggett, CA with zero injuries. Utilized project management practices during each rotation; all projects were completed on time or ahead of schedule.• Managed over $2.5 million in engineer equipment in three separate locations.

Monclova, Ohio

• Intelligence Officer of the 983rd Engineer Combat Battalion with six Engineer Companies, one Signal Company and three Engineer Detachments. • Responsible for providing up-to-date intelligence, physical security support and security clearance support to over 1,000 assigned Soldiers and 60 Full Time Unit Staff across the three states of Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. • Led the Battalion Intelligence section consisting of 4 NCOs and 5 Soldiers ensured they are properly trained to mobilize, deploy and accomplish the wartime mission. • Served as the Battalion Security Manager, passing all physical security inspections.

Marysville, Oh

• Direct supervision and development of over 30 hourly associates to include contract/ temporary associates responsible for producing over 500 million pounds of The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company’s granular fertilizer.• Zero recordable injuries or lost time accidents.• Coordinated daily for planning of maintenance assets across two production lines and ten packaging lines covering approximately ¾ million square feet. • Customer oriented; ensured all products leaving the production lines were fault free.• Managed the plant’s $150,000 supplies budget, ensuring necessary supplies were always available for production; never went over budget.• Project management experience; managed three separate projects each valued at over $500,000.• Implemented plastics recycling program to recycle packaging plastic bags and scrap. Resulted in over 680 tons of recycled material and $27,000 returned to the Scotts Associate Board.

Fort Drum, Ny

• Assistant Operations Officer of a 700 Soldier Cavalry Task Force deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom 07-08. • Responsible for resource planning, coordination, and synchronization to ensure all subordinate unit missions were fully resourced and battle tracked by the Tactical Operations Cell• Coordinated with 5 Brigades, 25 Battalions and other government agencies for battle space and up to date intelligence and operational information in order to ensure all involved parties were properly informed.• Planned over 80 Air Assault operations in Iraq focusing on defeating AQI and bringing security to the people of Iraq.• Gathered current intelligence from multiple sources, analyzed and created threat analysis products for use in mission planning.• Planned the Squadron’s first ever Squadron Air Assault and six Troop level air assaults in the Tuz Qada.

Fort Drum, Ny

• Responsible for daily maintenance and logistical support for the Troop and assigned equipment for three mounted reconnaissance platoons, including 20 HMMWV’s and four other wheeled vehicles, major support equipment and facilities valued in excess of $40 million dollars• Deployed the 80 Soldier Troop, 24 vehicles, 20 containers and sensitive items to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom 07-08 and to Fort Polk, LA for a Joint Readiness Training Center exercise 07-05 without the loss of any equipment or sensitive item.• Established and maintained life support for Patrol Base Zylman by directly coordinating for shower facilities, a containerized kitchen, reefer vans, and a maintenance area for an 80 Soldier patrol base in Tuz, Iraq. • Maintained the Troop’s vehicles, weapons, optics, night vision devices, NBC equipment, and communications equipment maintaining an operational readiness of 90%. • Managed the Troop Command post during JRTC and OIF Combat Operations responsible for battle tracking and providing the Troop Commander with up to date operational information.
