The number one priority is for the safety of gym users, because of this I am CPR, AED, and first aid certified. I was also required to pass an exam to prove that I am knowledgeable and have the skills to give beginner workouts to new members. This exam included knowledge of human anatomy, knowledge of and proper form of both machine and free weights exercise, and most importantly emphasized the safety of the client.
