As a teacher for Whales English, I conducted online courses for young learners, adapting, creating and utilising virtual lesson materials.

In my time at StudioInglese, I: ● Ran training workshops and provided ongoing assistance to teaching staff. ● Carried out teaching observations and provided feedback. ● Assisted and met with clients and students to outline and plan courses. ● Planned and ran an English course for Liceo Statale Ippolito Nievo, a local high school, as well as their certificate courses (IELTS and CAE). This involved planning and carrying out 14 lessons each for 9 classes (ages 13-18) as part of the school’s English curriculum, coordinating with their teachers and the school administration. ● Assisted in administrative duties and planned and hosted school events and activities, such as regular and well-attended games nights and quiz events. ● Led the effective transition of the school’s timetabling system to Google Calendars. ● Taught courses via Skype for businesses and individuals, and maintained an online register for Skype courses run at the school.● Created and maintained educational resources and activities for use by school staff.● Designed and scripted promotional and educational material.

I organised and ran the mother tongue English program for I.T.S. Belzoni, a local technical high school. This comprised 5- and 10-lesson courses for all years of the school (ages 13-18), with class sizes ranging from 10 to 35 students. These courses formed a central part of the school’s English curriculum, and were very well received by staff and students. I also planned and ran several extra-curricular certificate courses (PET and CAE) for the students, and several general English courses for the teaching staff at the school.

At British Institutes, I was responsible for preparing and carrying out individual and group classes in the English Language for a variety of purposes, including: General English, IELTS and Cambridge examination preparation, Trinity exam preparation, and English for professional purposes (e.g. Marketing English). I also designed and ran general English courses and Trinity exam preparation courses for primary, middle and high schools, both as part of the standard curriculum and in an extra-curricular capacity.

I also taught English lessons at Marchesi high school through StudioInglese, designing and conducting lessons for classes of 10–25, from ages 14–17.
