Chris graduated from Indiana University Kelly School of Business in 1998 with a BA degree in finance. After graduating, he worked for The Skinner and Broadbent Company as a Development Associate for new project development, and redeveloped a 100,000 square foot retail building into an indoor airport parking facility. Additionally, Chris developed over 400,000 square feet of self storage and retail projects in Southwest and Northeast Florida, as well as retail projects in Indiana. In 2003, Chris started and presided over McCrea Development LLC. McCrea Development focuses on ground up development of multi-tenant and single tenant retail projects in Midwestern and Southern states. In 2008, Chris started McCrea Property Group LLC to manage and lease McCrea Development properties in addition to third party properties. In 2009, Chris and partners created TriVis Capital Partners LLC to acquire distressed retail and loan assets. Through these entities Chris has acquired or developed 41 projects totaling over $90,000,000, and McCrea Property Group currently manages over $100,000,000 in retail assets. Chris maintains his Indiana real estate broker’s license.
