Work co-operatively with all other personnel including other instructors, leaders, coaches, officials and volunteers and where necessary support them to develop their skills.

Ensure that all facilities are properly secured at the close of business, where necessary. Provide reports to the management committees as required. Organise and implement a programme of sporting activities at the facility. Actively advertise the facility / events in schools, media and web site. Liaise with school staff to ensure continuity between curriculum use and community use. Liaise with users and outside agencies including statutory and non statutory and sporting agencies to ensure usage. To assist with the financial management of the facility.

To promote good working links between all partner agencies involved in Active Communities in order to assist Omagh District Council to meet the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) of the Active Communities programme. To assist with the organisation, implementation and delivery of an extensive coaching/physical activity programmes. To assist community groups/organisations, clubs and other relevant organisations to develop their capacity and ensure an effective legacy. To monitor and evaluate the Active Communities programme in accordance with Sport Northern Ireland funding guidelines and record relevant information and records in line with Sport Northern Ireland’s monitoring and evaluation framework.
