We focus around Hospitals, Care homes, Education and the Food and Catering industries where often an integrated solution can be provided offering optimum hygiene, durability and design flexibility through combining our various products. My role as a specification and design consultant for Altro is very challenging and very different on a daily basis. I have to be a product/technical expert and manage a wide range of high profile clients who specialize in construction design. I also work with end users from NHS, Education, Local authorities, Government/MOD and offshore to provide design solutions for there buildings. I have built solid relationships with my large client base and I am highly regarded within the Altro team. Recently I have took on a leadership role within the Scottish team and I have been looking after major projects, presenting our design solutions to large groups and senior management within the top construction companies. I am a very ambitious and driven individual who gives my all and I am a confident communicator at all levels. I bring out the best in people and love helping others to improve by passing on my knowledge and skills. I have an exceptional technical sales background and I provided solutions for even the most complex of problems. I am a hard working individual that goes the extra mile to achieve my personal and career goals. My role also involved the training and development of new team members, this is something I really enjoyed and took pride in. During my sales career at Hilti I hit target every year and was a top performer in the UK team. My results and hard work seen me win the coveted sales award for the top club of Europe within Hilti. This was a major achievement as I smashed my targets by over 120% in all categories and attended our presentation awards ceremony in Lichtenstein with the board of directors. I was extremely proud of this achievement as it was a strong competition within the company, they had over four hundred staff in the UK competing and I was so pleased that my dedication and hard work paid off. After this achievement I then got a further promotion and became a Regional Manager for the building and construction sales team across the central belt of Scotland. This included the repair and maintenance of Heavy Breakers and Large Combination Drills, Small Rotary Equipment, Petrol Saws and many other machines including Battery Power Systems. In my senior role I was largely responsible for the training and development of new technicians,ensuring my area's were run correctly and achieving a high productivity for the workshop. Working in the TSC was a great experience and something I enjoyed. I was very passionate about the work I done and one of the things I enjoyed greatly was my project management role taking charge of the upgrade program on our TE6-A and TE7-A cordless machinery for the whole of the UK, this was a large scale project and meant I had to be extremely organized and efficient reporting back directly to our senior management and quality team in Lichtenstein on a daily basis and carry out vital testing and upgrades to the machines to ensure they were ready for market.
