Periodic review of movement in select categories leading to analysis by item category to identify trends and provide actionable information. Factoring in customer specific demand usage requirements as received to develop resupply plan timelines and calculation of safety stock. Creation of purchase orders, checking for pricing accuracy followed by sending POs to factories with confirmation of production details and shipping/ receiving dates. Providing PO information to 3PL to arrange and manage bookings with each factory. Management and tracking of all inbound POs starting at shipment date up to port arrival, including all relevant shipment details, making sure to notify any vested parties of potential delays. Coordination with AP/AR to make sure invoices are paid within terms to avoid B/L holds. Working with Customs broker as needed to ensure timely release of goods by US customs agencies. Also, management of GS!-128 data transfers and labeling.
