- Perform daily inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment. - Comply with the permit to work and isolation system. - Carry out periodic maintenance according to the Preventive Maintenance System (PMS) guidelines and coordinate same with supervisor and other department heads.- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all power generation and distribution equipment, i.e. generators and engine controls, switchboards, transformers, et cetera.- Assist with the maintenance and repair of general rig equipment such as HVAC system, refrigeration plants, communication systems, lighting, et cetera.- Carry out maintenance and repair on electrical components of drilling equipment, i.e. Driller's console, AC Drilling motors and auxiliaries, Top Drive System, Drawworks, Mud Pumps, et cetera.- Carry out maintenance and repair on electrical components of marine equipment, i.e. thruster motors and auxiliaries, ballast pumps, control panels, cranes, et cetera.- Install new equipment as required, with regards to electrical wiring, fixtures and junction boxes, et cetera.- Study and understand electrical schematics as required. - Ensure that reports for repair and maintenance of equipment are accurate and complete.- Assist in supplying information for maintenance and repair budget.

-Installed, tested, troubleshoot, and repaired electrical systems on Nimitz Class Aircraft Carriers and Virginia Class Submarines. -In charge of testing and repairing Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment on Overhaul projects of Nimitz Class Aircraft Carriers. - In charge of a crew of twelve apprentices delegating work and overseeing jobs to ensure that task were performed to meet expectations. - I filled the role of a Foreman delegating work for a crew of twelve apprentices, ensuring safety of the workers, ensuring proper electrical isolation's were in place for work to be performed, and ensuring deadlines were met to maintain schedule for the project.
