My mission with Bond Home is simple: to build the world's best smart appliances. Smart products should be built to last, "just work" for the casual user, deliver on the demands of power users, and respect the privacy of the home. In order to deliver on this vision, I work with a talented team of innovators at Olibra, in partnership with leading appliance brands, and in collaboration with our user community.

I collaborated with founders and inventors to turn their ideas into manufacturable prototypes. I would help narrow and refine the idea into something concrete, then execute that plan on-time and on-budget, and finally pitch the nascent companies to prospective customers and investors. I worked on next-generation digital signage, self-checkout tech, wireless stethoscopes, and rural power distribution monitoring with LoRaWAN.

I was fortunate to receive a fellowship from the Institute to study causation in physical systems, an under-studied subject at the crossroads of philosophy, computer science, and physics. I presented my findings to the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence.I also designed and conducted NIH-funded activity recognition studies in human subjects using wearable sensors, and invented a noise cancellation technology for isolating sound from ear canal in a noisy environment.

I worked with a small team at Gotham Analytics to develop IoT solutions for industrial and agricultural customers in USA and South East Asia.I designed and configured an international inter-organizational satcom network, leveraging recent advances in routing and microwave radio technologies to meet 1st-world corporate IT expectations in a remote deployment in Borneo with over a dozen sites.I also co-invented, designed, and implemented sensor networks and off-grid solar backup systems in power substations, solar generation projects, and hydroelectric dams.
