Performed and managed over 200 H&S compliance/management system audits for a variety of clients over a 5 year period such as Hess Oil, Sunoco, WR Grace, NBC, MCI and Gund Arena. Managed health and safety operations for companies 16 offices, specifically to compliance to federal, state, and local regulations. Performed a wide range of corporate functions which included establishing a management systems, mitigating financial risks specific to health and safety performance, compliance, workers compensation, injury and illness trends, medical surveillance and training.

Houston, Texas Area

Managed a six-state region, including Latin America, to meet company and client H&S policies and procedures. Promoted compliance, utilized loss control tools, and fulfilled client H&S expectations to enhance the regions H&S performance. Performed general duties of a site safety engineer, investigations, oversaw industrial hygiene and participated in emergency response team management.

Port Arthur Tx

As a safety engineer, provided technical health and safety support to the Port Arthur, Texas refinery. Assisted the plant in procuring the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) “Star” status award over the 3 year period. Member of all emergency response teams at this flagship refinery.
