I have recently moved into the tech industry, after a 12 year career in hospitality management & operations. I am excited by the innovation, the scale and the scope in the advances in technology, and aim to be at involved creating a better environment, both socially and commercially, for all industries and sectors as they advance into the digital space.Until recently, my career has been in management and operations in multiple premium venues and businesses; from award-winning independent Gastro-pubs to multi-site operations within the same company. This led to the establishment, growth and eventual sale of my own business and after the under-taking of a large central-London venue. Whilst here my work resulted in a notable improvement on all measurable KPIs, set out by a market-leading PLC Hospitality company.The breadth of my experience in the hospitality industry combines the agency, immersion and entrepreneurial instinct required to succeed in small independent venues, with the diplomacy and policy-based processes of working for one of the largest hospitality companies in the country.My professional strengths are team-building, people-development, business engagement and solution-based reasoning in the work that I undertake.
