Responsible for assessing project requirements, determining the scope of work while overseeing budget and assigning staff. Develops the scope of work for designs based on preliminary review and client requirements. Prepares engineering studies, provides analysis of the operation of existing systems, and provides schematic design for new or replacement systems. Collaborates with code officials and other design professionals as necessary. Manages engineers and/or sub-consultants as required by project. Develops fee proposals, and executes design projects. Reviews contractor applications for payments. Coordinates project document completion, externally with clients, and with other relevant design professionals. Prepares or reviews construction budgets based on the project scope. Manages project schedule, execution, delivery, and construction administration.

Designed various projects for healthcare facilities; new construction, renovations, fit-outs. Project types ranged from a Central Energy Plant to a shell fit out of a Pharmacy. Performed calculations for medical gas, chilled and condenser water, steam, heating hot water, gas, domestic water, sanitary, vent, storm water, building envelope, building internal loads, ventilation airflow for a given project. Designed piping and ductwork systems based on the calculations. Made equipment selections for the associated mechanical equipment. Designed custom air handling units, chilled water plants, and heating plants.Performed master planning, utility documentation, and facility condition assessments for facilities based on code requirements and future planning of the facility.Supervised support staff including other engineers, designers, administrative assistants, and CAD/Revit staff.
