Manage and direct agile team of electrical and computer engineers to develop cutting edge technology for various industries including space and defense systems, industrial automation, and rapid prototyping.

Designed, built, tested, and operated flight hardware for robust and reusable high altitude balloon payloads.

Researched and aided in development of a computationally light derivative of the Space Plug and Play Avionics (SPA) architecture for small satellite subsystems. Research culminated in the development of the C&DH architecture for the KySat-2 cubesat (SPA-1L enabled), The SPA-1 compliant Trailblazer cubesat developed by Cosmiac, a talk at the cubesat workshop, and a publication by IEEE Aerospace. In addition, lead research testing and comparing various microprocessor architectures and real time operating systems for use on Space Systems Lab projects. Over 15 processors and 10 RTOS's were evaluated over two years leading to the adoption of new processors being used for undergraduate and graduate level Embedded Systems courses at the University of Kentucky.
