On February 2nd 1999, I started work as Melbourne’s youngest independent events producer. Unfortunately, I can’t claim ‘youngest’ anymore, but I’ve done a thing or two over the years. Currently, I’m the Co-Director of The Marvellous Elephant Man the Musical, a Founding Partner of Northcote Theatre plus Velodrome Events, and the Director-Writer of multiple award-winning short films. I also collaborate with LONER online, the world’s third biggest VR club, to run a series of immersive, hybrid-reality events.Since joining the Marvellous Elephant Man, the musical earned 15+ ★★★★★ reviews during sell-out runs, and the 2023 Adelaide Fringe Critics’ Circle Award for ‘best show.’ With the help of Guy Masterson, my Olivier-award winning West End Co-Director, we’re touring the play nationally with an upcoming 4 week run at the iconic Sydney Spiegeltent.In addition to theatre directing, I continue to produce major public festivals. Recent events include Reunion Park, a 6-week long art and music festival, and SummerCamp, a day party for the LGBTQIA+ community held at the iconic Coburg Velodrome. In 2022, I ran a private party for Liberty Financial, which featured interactive art, circus performances and the state-side supergroup The Killers.In years past, I ran Red Bennies - a renowned performing arts venue - and wrote and directed multiple movies. My first feature length - Start, Options, Exit - received official selection at over 40 international genre festivals, winning Melbourne Underground Film Festival, alongside my short films Iron Spyder winner of Fantastic Fest’s best short film, and Korean/Australia co-pro Mary’s Room screening at Snow Dance and Crystal Palace Film Festival. I remain passionate about nurturing up-and-coming talent and using new technology - especially A.I and virtual reality - to push the creative envelope. Outside of work, I like to create more work for myself, and listen to Country Music.
