I graduated from West Virginia University in May of 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture. The majority of my studies in college required superior critical thinking skills, in which process continuous learning and problem solving was necessary. I was taught how to evaluate current conditions and make them self-sustainable to increase performance, optimize functionality and to reduce costs by using effective methodologies and strategies to create successful results. Currently I am a Project Manager/ Civil Site Designer for CTL Engineering in Morgantown, WV. My responsibilities focus on Civil Site Design including; Project Coordination, Site Layout and Functionality, Site Grading, Storm Water Management, Planting Design, Vehicle Turning and Ground Clearance, 3D modeling and UAV Photogrammetric Data/Point Cloud Processing. My Civil Design experience includes but is not limited to; Oil and Gas Pads/Access Roads, Slope Failure Repairs, Restaurants, Grow Facilities, Shopping Plazas/Centers, Hotels, Medical Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Elementary Schools, Apartment Complexes, Car Dealerships and Banks. Being a detail oriented person, I can easily explain a concept or idea to a client and modify it to specifically meet their needs. I am proficient in AutoCad, Civil 3D, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Pix4D, ReCap, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. As you can see from my college portfolio, my skills are well established and detailed. In my portfolio, I have provided a broad sampling of what I am capable of producing and believe you will see my passion and creativity in my work. Included is my senior class project that was entered into the Disney Imaginations nationwide competition, in which I am proud to say received a semi-finalist ranking. I was solely responsible for the 3-D computer modeling, hand graphics, and computer graphics that comprised the project. In my 7 years at CTL Engineering I have become a respected member of the Design Team, one in which my colleagues turn to for guidance. I am also member of the New Employee Mentorship Program, where we build a mentor/mentee relationship and become a point of contact to give them guidance and answer questions relating to work or the Company.
