I took early retirement in 2014 at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of South Africa to work as a private consultant. I am an Economist, Academic and Strategist with a Master's degree in Economics, specialising in Labour Economics, Master of Art in Development Studies specialising in Labour and Development and Doctorate Degree in Business Administration - Development Economics. My academic background exposed me to a wide range of socio-economic organisations strategic planning, including the development of small-scale enterprises. I worked as a Chief Executive Officer and Programme Officer for the International Labour Organisation (ILO). While working as an expert of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)/International Labour Organisation (ILO) project for the Lesotho Government Kingdom, I researched and commented on Lesotho's socio-economic policies, a small, open dependent African economy. Have ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders focuses on impact and result and responds positively to feedback, timely responses to queries on public administration reforms, policy development and cooperation, civic service, and human resources management including the ability to digest, assess and keep track of a diverse range of information with a discerning sense of data quality, a strong background in policy impact research and strategies, passion for making a difference, project management skills, communication, publication, and networking.Since 2002 worked with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of South Africa on Strategic Research & Development and Contract Management: Africa, NEPAD and International Institutions and later as a Consultant for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) on Delivery as One (DaO) programme in South Africa. "Delivering as One" (DaO) guides joint resource mobilisation based upon one budgetary framework, one programme, one fund, one leader and operating as one. Delivering as One approach ensures that programming is driven by provincial or country demand rather than international supply. Between 2019-2021 worked as an International Consultant for UNDP as Industrial Sector Development in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI) ERBIL. I am a trainer, computer literate, and have experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.
