CSIR Materials Science and Manufacturing (MSM) Manager: Strategic Research & Development and Contract Management: Africa, NEPAD, and International Institutions . From my international expertise, enhance the relationship and providing strategic planning, socio-economic analysis, and marketing research support between CSIR MSM in South Africa, Africa and globally in order increase economic growth in Africa, NEPAD and Globally. To facilitate opportunities in the public, private, and international sectors, and develop and structure, strategic contract management & partnerships including the establishment of working relationship with Government Departments such as Department of Science and Technology, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of International Relations and Cooperation, Embassies, donors in South Africa, Africa, globally and building relationships with the AU NEPAD, SADC Secretariat. From 2011 this has mainly been to Industrial Technology development in South Africa to create employment opportunities, poverty alleviation and sustainable development including establishment of working relationship with Embassies, donors in South Africa. When I joined CSIR Manufacturing and Materials Technology (M&Mtek) in 2002, I was appointed Project Manager with then CSIR Manufacturing Policy Centre. As a Project Manager servicing eight centres within the Manufacturing and Materials Division where the socio-economic analysis, strategic and technology road map input were made to the management team and the Department of Science and Technology. While working with the policy centre, we produced a report titled: "2003 South Africa's Analysis on the Technology Road Map in New and Advanced Materials for Government of South Africa, Department of Science and Technology".
