The OneBeacon Medical Technology Group underwrites insurance products that include General Liability, Products Liability, Human Clinical Trials, Professional Liability, Data Privacy Liability, Property, Workers Compensation, and International coverage solutions specifically suited for companies specializing in the medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries.Overall Position Responsibilities include:• Managing Medical Technology renewal portfolio for OneBeacon’s Technology Group• Responsible for marketing and underwriting new business based upon OneBeacon’s underwriting appetite and strategy• Consistently developing superior working relationships with agency and customer base while promoting OneBeacon’s insurance services, products, and solutions.• Responsible for developing and executing underwriting analysis, sales strategies and financial objectives by developing a marketing plan that reflects market and industry-specific conditions. • Responsible for developing and managing relationships with internal resources (Risk Control, Claims, and Operations) in order to provide excellent customer service to OneBeacon customers.• Developed and introduced effective underwriting strategies with a focus on profitability and growth while executing excellent customer service.
