I study the relationships among fish behaviour, life-history and fitness in the wild using data collected by "reality mining", such as high resolution acoustic telemetry. My background is in fisheries science and therefore much of my work considers a fisheries context. My hope is that my research can provide new insights into both basic biological and ecological concepts and applied fisheries management.
