The ability to construct something from miscellaneous parts has fascinated me since childhood. My passion began by building worlds from Legos and fixing things around the house whether it was broken or not. As I found that I would be able to continue this passion into a career, I discovered civil engineering would allow the most creative involvement from design to construction.Throughout my years at Montana Tech, earning my B.S. in Civil Engineering, I’ve been given the opportunity to continue to grow my interest by exploring the modern engineering software. Then being able to take this knowledge and apply it to solve complex problems in industry though my multiple internships has been very gratifying. Now in industry, my passion remains. The idea that anything can be designed and built, only limited by my imagination and ingenuity, drives me to continue to self-educate and push myself both mentally and physically. This is the reason I am diligent about training and progressing in my hobbies which currently include spartan races, mountain biking, and rock climbing. My aggressive ethos and rewarding passion work together to further fuel my drive to build a better world and bring the “what ifs” to reality.
