• Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.

• Assumed control of an R&D project for new Architectural Glass Lamination Process
• Successfully developed new process resulting in Patent application No. AU 2007906540
• Developed and Implemented project plan for the commercial application of the new technology
• Sourced plant and equipment for production facility liaising directly with manufacturers locally and in China
• Sourced and negotiated lease for factory unit, designed and implemented factory layout and process flow
• Installed and commissioned new plant and equipment allowing for demonstration of the new process

• Providing technical and organisational support to the processing operation
• Achieving optimum levels of output from the process and the teams

I was chiefly responsible for the implementation of the "Luxfer Production System" which was heavily influenced by the Toyota Production System. This meant that I was working with all levels of the company ranging from sales through production to maintenance crews in constantly reviewing all aspects of the operation.
