Hired as a Clerk in the Alberni flagship store after relocating to Vancouver. Leveraged operational and leadership skills to address challenges in the stockroom and implemented changes in our inventory systems that simplified processes and increased efficiencies.During the 2010 relocation of the store I was responsible for co-ordinating the movement of all existing inventory and setup of the new warehouse. Following the successful grand opening, I was recognized by the Regional Manager for my contribution in planning and execution of this complex project.Promoted and transferred as Assistant Manager in January 2012. I was recognized for significant contributions in the area for morale and driving accountability, productivity in a union environment. I was responsible for entire store operations as well as writing the weekly/monthly/training schedule for teams in three different locations.May 2013, I took on a new role in the Company's Flagship location overseeing the largest, highest volume location in the fleet achieving 55 million+ annual revenue. Partnered with Corporate Marketing/Merchandising department to implement Store Marketing/Presentation goals as well as upholding the highest store operational customer service standards.

Hired to lead the company’s expansion and addition of two additional routes. Co-coordinated base construction project in Nanaimo and built a team of 25. Exceeded expectations allowing us to have our first planes in the air within one month.Responsible for driving sales and controlling expenses. Exceeded targets and achieved profitability on the new routes within 3 months.Managed local business development and public relations. Represented the company at community events, prepared press releases and responded as spokesperson to all media queries.

Nanaimo/Vancouver

Responsible for Terminal Operations in both Nanaimo and Vancouver. Developed a team of 25 direct reports in sales and service roles.Established the Terminal and On-Board merchandising and food service business achieving profitability in the first year of operations. Exceeded revenue targets in each subsequent year and established this segment as the company’s most profitable unit.Worked as Project Manager to address negative customer and employee feedback regarding our reservation and ticketing processes. In less than six months we executed a comprehensive strategy that included the necessary upgrades to our technology, retraining of our team and customer facing communication. Identified a business development opportunity in providing Nanaimo passengers with transportation solutions for Vancouver based special events including concerts and sporting events. Established partnerships with Vancouver restaurants and transportation vendors to create seamless event experiences. The demand for “Special Event” sailings grew quickly and were amongst the most profitable in our schedule. In addition, this initiative deepened our relationship with our daily and weekly commuters.
