What does Epiq do you ask? We are in the middle of a merger with DTI, and the company guides and finds solutions to class action & mass tort, court reporting at an industrial level, ediscovery, business process solutions, regulatory and compliance, as well as restructuring and bankruptcy. And what do i do you ask? Epiq is a global company i am supporting people from all regions. We have 30 plus domains, we are doing some migrations, upgrades, using todays tools. Our group designs, implements, configures, documents the following products. NCM, NPM, Server & Application Monitor, Storage Manager, SRM, and Orion Enterprise Operations Console, RSA Appliances and two factor authentication, BigFix Reporting, OS Patching, Third Party Patching Integrated Pollers and monitoring, configure alerting and thresholds, ServiceNow auto-ticketing integration and Plugins for Security Scanning. We work with software Integration into SQL and Active Directory, continualy finding new technologies to get deeper into business operations as just an example of some of the steps Epiq takes for it's clients security. I am happy to report that in the short time with Epiq, i have gain the confidence of the technology management and given the opportunity to be remote. I will be moving south, but still report to the Kansas City office. I believe the opportunity for training is better down south so i can continue to work for Epiq and solidify some primary skills in the software path they are following with technical training and certification. Includes packaging builds for release, ensuring appropriate project documentation is available for each new build or release, and testing builds for accuracy and completeness of the build. Accurately applies code fixes to all environments as required.- Assist in the development of scripts, applets and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms; this includes client and server install scripts, and build and release automation scripts.- Lead the implementation of custom software solutions for software repository and application lifecycle management tools.- Maintains a repository of configuration items for projects and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.- I do domain administration for our Carrollton site. All hardware replacement and upgrades including but not limited to HP blade enclosure infrastructure, G6 to G8 blades, upgraded with 10gig network dedicated switch to Tintri storage for full use of our Vsphere 6.0 solution for virtualization, that I am also lead engineer, built and virtualized our DC, now running over a 1000 Vm's. We have types of 8u rackmount servers for our hosts.
