Throughout my career in retail banking I have worn my hats. Beginning as a teller I had face to face interactions with customers and learning their unique banking habits I developed my banking talents from the ground up. As I grew within the retail banking community I gradually evolved and accepted greater responsibility. This entailed extensive knowledge of KYC, risk management, fraud prevention and AML policies and practices to prevent loss at my financial institution.This gives me practical hands-on experience with identifying and utilizing multiple platforms to understand entities being compromised but also apply sophisticated analytical methods to understand the data, extract optimal information, use high-end pattern recognition, and text mining to create features, and advanced modeling techniques to fit the best possible models to the data to reduce false positives.In my youth, I was always regarded as a "rules lawyer" due to my almost compulsive need to do everything by-the-book and confirm that our games were played properly. Data analysis came naturally to me and I relish the thought of puzzling out tricky and difficult situations. These are the reasons I am naturally suited for a role within this most auspicious of roles in the financial world.
